CBFPD Gets A New Fire Truck
The Crested Butte Fire Protection District (CBFPD) is excited to have received a new Tender Truck on April 5th. The new Tender 2 which sports the new red color will replace the old Tender 2. We welcomed "T2" with a traditional "push-in" ceremony. Back in the day when fire apparatus were pulled by horses, the team would wash the cart and then push it back into the bay. COVID-19 Relief Fund
Did you know... We currently have 58 members, 40 (or 70%) of which are completely volunteer. These volunteer members work for various business in the Crested Butte community to earn their livings; a majority of these businesses are now completely shut down in light of the current COVID-19 crisis. These individuals have essentially seen a complete loss of income. Additionally, many of the employed members of the Crested Butte Fire Protection District must also work a second jo
